What does Louisa K do?

The idea behind Louisa K is to bring my expertise to the public in designing custom clothing, hats and bags. I want to help people understand their body shapes and what will work for them. I am passionate about New Zealand made products and want to help my customers to see the benefits of quality, locally made clothing. Everyone should be able to feel amazing in their clothes, and I look forward to helping as many people as possible get that feeling.

I am currently working on custom made garments and accessories, as well as offering clothing alteration services.

Who is Louisa K?

My name is Samantha, I am originally from Christchurch, where I completed my Diploma & Advanced Diploma of Fashion Design at D&A. After completing my studies, I moved to Auckland to pursue my dream of working in the clothing manufacturing industry within New Zealand. Though there have been many ups and downs throughout my career, my passion and determination have ensured that I kept moving forward. Whilst working full time in the industry, I made clothing for myself and my friends in my spare time, simply because it is what I love to do.

Recently I made the decision to share my passion, by working for myself at Louisa K full time.

Where does the name Louisa K come from?

Louisa is my middle name, and K is taken from the first initial of my maiden name.
